Installation Warranty
What's Covered
Your ExactWrap® installation is backed by a 12-month warranty from the date of fitting, covering:
- Material defects in the vinyl film.
- Edge lifting or peeling under normal operating conditions.
- Adhesive failure on flat or gently curved surfaces.
- Print defects including colour separation or ink delamination.
To make a warranty claim, contact us at info@exactwrap.com with your order reference and photographs of the issue.
What's Not Covered
- Damage caused by road debris, stone chips, scratches, or accidents.
- Peeling caused by pressure washing, machine washing, or abrasive cleaning products.
- Fading caused by prolonged UV exposure beyond normal commercial use.
- Damage caused by solvents, fuel, or harsh chemicals.
- Failure on areas where you were advised of application limitations (recesses, rivets, sharp edges).
- Pre-existing paint defects, repairs, or Bondo filler — wrap adhesion cannot be guaranteed over these surfaces.
- Damage caused by improper removal — always use a professional for removal.
- Minor silvering on complex curves where material limitations were explained prior to installation.
Wrap Care Guide
Following these guidelines will protect your investment and maintain your warranty.
✓ Do
- Hand wash with a mild, pH-neutral vehicle shampoo
- Rinse with a low-pressure hose
- Dry with a clean microfibre cloth
- Use wrap-safe sealant products if desired
- Report any lifting edges promptly — early repair prevents further damage
- Keep the vehicle garaged where possible
✕ Don't
- Use automated or brush car washes
- Pressure wash at close range or high pressure
- Use abrasive cloths, sponges, or compounds
- Apply wax, polish, or silicone-based products
- Use petrol, diesel, or solvent-based cleaners
- Attempt DIY removal — always use a professional
At Fitting
Your installer will:
- Walk you through the installed wrap and highlight any areas requiring care.
- Note any locations where material limitations exist on your specific vehicle.
- Advise on the 48-hour post-installation period (avoid washing, rain exposure where possible).
We recommend inspecting your wrap 30 days after installation and reporting any concerns promptly.
Warranty Claims
Email info@exactwrap.com with:
- Your order reference number (EW-XXXX-XXXX).
- Date of fitting.
- Clear photographs of the affected area(s).
- Description of the issue and when it was first noticed.
We aim to respond to all warranty claims within 3 working days. Approved claims will be remedied at no charge within a reasonable timeframe.
